I was recently featured in an Investopedia article exploring how financial advisors are navigating the growing complexity of active ETFs. The piece offers practical insights on how to guide clients through the trade-offs between cost, transparency, and performance.

“I tell clients to ignore the active vs. passive label,” I shared in the piece. “Instead ask: Is it predictive or systematic? Is it diversified, low-cost, transparent, and backed by evidence?”

This quote reflects our broader philosophy at Altruist Wealth Management: investment decisions should be rooted in evidence, not marketing. Active wrappers don’t magically solve for underperformance. And in most cases, the simplest solution is still the most robust.
